We all have to start somewhere, and of course we know quite a bit about BODY KITS BMW; but there was a time when we knew very little. Do not think we were anything different, it is just that we started our process of discovery earlier than you.
There were people ahead of us with knowledge, and we are the same with others like you - nothing different. You can call things speed bumps or things like that, and we always try to warn people about them. Some road blocks are worse than others and harder to get around or through, but you can always learn how to do it or figure it out.
Even the less imposing speed bumps will become almost insignificant because of the accumulate experience and knowledge you will have acquired.
While the 2011 BMW ActiveHybrid 7 happens to be hybrid, you won't ever mistake it for a Prius. When you visualize hybrids, you think of fuel efficiency but this BMW hybrid is absolutely not that fuel efficient. In comparison to the other 7-series models, the 2011 ActiveHybrid 7 helps you to save more on fuel but it fails to move well in stop and go traffic and the idle stop feature shuts off the power steering. It's really a great advancement in automobile technology but its quirkiness when driving can get annoying.
The majority of hybrids have a smaller gas engine since the car is also being powered by the electric motor but this is not true for the BMW ActiveHybrid 7. Even though the typical hybrid uses the energy generated by the electric motor to cut down fuel consumption, BMW uses it to make the car move faster. The 2011 BMW ActiveHybrid 7 has a dual turbo direct-injection 4.4-liter V-8 engine which is the same as the basic BMW 750i The only distinction is the introduction of an electric motor than receives its power from a 120-volt lithium ion battery pack. The hybrid provides you with better gas mileage than the regular 750i but provide even more horsepower.
Despite being a hybrid vehicle, the ActiveHybrid 7 isn't going to drive in pure electric mode in any situation. As a substitute, the system should add some boost during acceleration and the engine will shut down at a stop which is like the Integrated Motor Assist System of the Honda. As being a driver, you would not assume the ActiveHybrid 7 is a hybrid until you see a blue area on the fuel gauge indicating that electricity is being regenerated. But when you come to a stop, you'll feel the engine go silent and the tach needle go to zero. With the size of the engine, it is surprising how smooth the engine pops up to life, when you take your foot off of the brake.
When you are waiting at a traffic light that is really lengthy, that is when the idle stop system is useful, but not quite as well in stop-and-go traffic. It is great to have the engine shut off as you sit there stopped, but it becomes a nuisance when it shuts down for 5 seconds at a time, and this takes some getting used to. It also takes getting used to the degree of power, because the vehicle lunges frontward with the slightest touch of the accelerator. It could possibly sound green calling this automobile a hybrid, but the added horsepower and not fuel efficiency is what this hybrid system has done.
When you imagine a hybrid, you think of fuel efficiency, and while the 2011 BMW ActiveHybrid 7 is more efficient that the standard BMW 7-series, it only gets around 20 miles per gallon. Great for the luxury vehicle it is, but nothing exceptional for a hybrid.
